Here are some of my recent projects:

This piece is an acrylic painting of a travel poster of Paris. It was made with only the 3 primary colors and white. The goal of this painting was to mix the exact colors of the image to make it look like the original. The challenging part of this piece was mixing the different types of cyan blue for the Eiffel Tower and the water. 

This piece was crafted using needle-nose pliers, jump rings, and beads to create a necklace and a pair of earrings. This piece required a lot of practice in making loops in the wires. I made this as a gift for a friend to wear on Valentine’s Day.

This is an acrylic dot painting of 2 koi fish. The goal was to add a pattern with dots into the piece, I did a mandala pattern on the water. This piece was especially fun to paint because I got to experiment with different patterns and sizes of dots using a pencil, a toothpick, and a Q-tip.

This is a digital painting made on the Procreate app. The reference for this piece was a sculpture of Saint Longinus, created by the Italian sculptor Gian Lorenzo Bernini. I chose to do this sculpture because I was inspired by Bernini’s attention to detail and his ability to create dramatic expressions with stone.

This block print was made by carving out a design into an eraser like material. The design of this piece was based off the art nouveau style. I made this block while watching the movie “Thumbelina” which is what inspired me to base it off art nouveau.

This is an acrylic painting I did of a 5 year old boy from Honduras, Central America. I was given the opportunity to participate in the Memory Project, an organization that promotes intercultural understanding and kindness between children around the world. This is the first portrait painting I have ever done.
